I really like this piece, Vaka by Sigur Ros, which really influenced a particular piece I wrote called To awaken a sleeping person.

What do you find (musically) interesting? The sound world and the drama that’s created.

What do you think this piece is about? Emotions, inward reflection.

How does the composer develop the material? By using interplay between the instruments and the use of the voice.
