The Zigzag Ensemble is an exciting composing and improvising group for 12-16 year olds led by composer and workshop leader Ben Markland and BCMG musicians. Zigzag workshops happen eight times a year on the same day as Music Maze workshops.

Young people need to play a musical instrument to take part and read a little bit of music notation. BCMG welcomes young instrumentalists from all cultural traditions.

Places are free but must be booked in advance using the Ticket Info tab.

Participants are invited to attend our annual Family Concert on Sunday 8 March.
