Royal Philharmonic Society – DUET PRIZE FOR YOUNG COMPOSERS

The RPS Duet Prize for Young Composers is awarded by the Royal Philharmonic Society and Duet Group to an outstanding young composer.

Awarded every two years, the RPS Duet Prize for Young Composers is open to young composers aged 18 and under.

The recipient of the Prize will receive £1,500 cash and a professional commission and performance.

Applications are open to composers studying at a UK school or through a music service or hub but not at a specialist music school. Completed applications are to be submitted by the applicant’s school or music hub/service and not individually.

Applicants must be resident in the UK.

The closing date for applications is 20 November 2015.
