Jason studied at Birmingham Conservatoire. As a Visiting Tutor, he contributes to the department in the areas of solo percussion, percussion ensemble, community engagement and percussion pedagogy. Professionally, Jason enjoys working in the widest range of styles and has performed at top festivals across musical genres (e.g. Glastonbury; pop/rock, London Jazz Festival; jazz, BBC Proms; classical, RSC; shows). TV and radio media appearance have also been diverse from live broadcasts on stations such as BBC Radio 3 and BBC Wales to KerrangFM and Serbian national television!

As a member of the Maraca2 percussion duo, he has performed around the world and appeared at all the leading percussion festivals including an evening concert at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention.

Jason will show us a wide range of percussion and maybe take us into the secret percussion cave of wonders at the Conservatoire!
